Anyone else find this ironic while Tiger fans are pulling for GA to win out this year to help our SOS, although the putrid taste in my mouth still exists. Meanwhile Dawg fans are desperately rooting against us because they know they won't jump us should we remain undefeated in the polls.

The winner of the SEC, as long as they have 2 or less losses, will forever and always be in the National Championship game. The media and BCS would have it no other way. Georgia will be fine if they keep winning.

Living down here in GA, I find it almost impossible to be happy for any success they might have, unless maybe it's when they play usuc. Then I hold my nose and just watch, hoping both somehow lose. Granted, their success helps our strength of schedule, but a well timed loss by them to a weakling won't do much damage to our SOS, IMO. That said, I will not be all that sad if they were to win and we played them again in the MCG. I think we beat them again, though it would be another war.

We got what we need - they beat a ranked LSU and USCs and as a result will likely win the east. I don't want to play them again so will be hoping for Alabama to beat them in the SEC Championship. I would rather play Alabama.

Only problem in this scenario is that an undefeated PAC 12 team might keep us out of the NC game should Bama remain undefeated. Hard to tell at this point, it depends on us beating highly ranked FSU, Miami-likely in the ACC-CG,and USUC. If the chickens tank and Miami fades, then our schedule strength will take a hit.

I don't see anyone remaining on Miami's schedule (outside of FSU) that can beat them.
I think we face an unbeaten Miami team in the ACC CG.

I like the way you think, and if that happens it should really boost our perception as a conference (at least start the pundits noticing us in a different light). The more success our conference has, the better we look and the more consideration we get when it comes to bowls, TV time spots, recruiting considerations and all around kudos. This is a good thing!
