I hope this is taken in the spirit it is given. I spoke

Mar 23, 2020, 5:39 PM

today with a highly decorated veteran of recent wars. Two Bronze stars, one with valor. I respect him as much as anyone I know. I called him today to tell him I bet he and his buddies are perplexed at not only the stress civilian Americans are showing, but also at some of the civilians unwqillingness to do what they need to do. And he said, " Look, we went down the same roads every day in a humvee, knowing that at least every other day we would find an IED and that once a week, one of them would blow up. But, that was our duty and we did it"....Now, he DID NOT SAY ANYTHING against the American civilian. That would be beneath his personal code I would say. But, I am saying, Spud is saying, DO YOUR PART. If the President,Governor, or Mayor asks us to stay indoors for two weeks.....14 days, can we as Americans not do that? I would hate to think the American Soldier would have to be given orders to make American civilians do, WHAT WE SHOULD ALL DO WILLINGLY. Seems like a small sacrifice compared to what thousands of others have made on our behalf.

In all sincerity,

Spud

Some people won’t take it seriously until they see others being thrown into the back of law enforcement vehicles like we saw in China. Might get their attention

Yeah not only did we get the virus from China but let's become Communist Dictators as well. This isnt about just people being sick this is about our economy. We aren't talking a few people laid off we are talking millions of millions without jobs. Itd make the great depression look like spring break. I find it odd that people have no problem saying let's just stay home, it doesn't work like that. You are talking about the total collapse of the American market. We are already 22 trillion in debt what you think they can just give us money to keep going? When you dont have money to give you have to borrow that money and when this country doesn't have the funds it takes it from it's people in forms of high taxes and interest rates that would stop anyone from buying anything again. I still haven't seen the reason for all this. We are talking fractions of people affected by this worldwide compared to H1N1 just in the US. Say what you will but this feels political. There are people very high up that wanted nothing more than to take away the one thing Trump could fall back on, the economy. You tell me. I keep hearing how bad this is but this virus has been here how long and we have had only a few hundred deaths? I'm serious tell me how 60 million affected in this country with 13,000 dead from H1N1 but this is the one where we completely destroy our economy? I'm sorry but if you think that poverty hasn't killed millions then I dont know what to tell you. It's like some have no concept of the horrors crashing our economy will do. Not to mention now you have Democrats blocking every attempt to get the American people stimulus checks so excuse me if this feels like a ploy to crash the economic future by some.

I hope you are 100 percent correct. If the recovered numbers

go up dramatically in the next 7 or 8 days, I will feel pretty good. I think I heard it takes 7 to 10 days to clear a test that you are recovered...So, hopefully, those will start to make their way on the charts..

This is not a worldwide agenda to ruin Trump

All roads lead to narcissism. This is the media doing what they do - promoting fear to get eyeballs. The irony is Trump used it perfectly to get elected and dodge scandal after scandal. Suddenly he is terrible at steering the media.

You are correct Spud. Nothing more needs to be said. The Democrats in D.C. are the lowest form of life on Earth.
