I think this is awesome that Nuk will put himself out there of having that type of hardship in his, and his moms life. I personally applaud his actions with this cause. I've mention on here before that if I was rich, or if I was to win the lottery, I would use most of the money to help the homeless, and battered and abuse women, especially the ones with children witnessing their mother being abused.
Me or my brothers and sisters never witnessed anything like that in our home, but I did witness it at a friends house when I was around 12 or 13, and the picture of my friends dad beating his mom is still in my head even today, and I'm 68 years old. If that picture is still in my head of it happening at a friends house, I can't begin to imagine all of those types of pictures that are in his head if he is still alive today. Even worst thoughts, what if my child hood friend became a woman beater himself!!!
Good for Nuk, I know that he left Clemson unhappy about something, but he seems to have left that in the past, and he has become a good spokesman/ambassador for Clemson, and that's great. And it's great that he is using his notoriety platform to help mothers, and their kids that are in abusive relationships bc, those are some horrible memories to carry in your head for a life time!!!
