I have always wondered with his arm how he would be at baseball. Seems he has always been football focused. Did he ever play or consider baseball?

Dude. Where have you been? He’s always played baseball and could be a high round pick out of high school. He’s a pitcher who can chuck it 95+

He said enough for me. I wanted some doubt and he gave it.
DJ won't play baseball in the Spring. Once he gets here, it's "all-in" for football.

I think he will play baseball..... more after spring football. Going into May the pitching staff always needs more arms.

I hope DJ does whatever fulfills him the most

and makes him the best version of himself he can be.
But selfishly, I desperately hope he doesn't play baseball. From a strictly X's and O's standpoint I hate it when our players try and play two sports. Nuk is my favorite example: he had one of the best receiving seasons in NCAA history in 2012 after he dropped basketball and now he's in every conversation about who's the best WR in the NFL. Oh, and he has a fat contract.
To be fair, it's much easier to do football and baseball than football and basketball; I just want our elite athletes focusing on one sport. Again, very selfish viewpoint I know, and at the end of the day I want DJ to do whatever is best for him.

I agree, but if he has good control and can maintain a 95mph fastball... he could have a long well paid career in MLB.
I am concerned about all the hits that DW4 is taking....

Fortunately for DJ, the odds of him being drafted by the Texans is slim.

It’s very concerning. He’s carrying that team on his back and then some.

You have no idea how angry people are down here about BOB and the Texans. The Rockets and Astros organizations make the Texans look like garbage. People are very concerned about DW4's health. BOB's arrogant attitude is disgraceful.
As a Clemson fan whose all-time favorite college player is DW4, I was shocked and overjoyed when they drafted him. Now I despise the organization more than ever.

All the fans has to do to get their voice heard and it's simple, STOP buying the Tickets. Change usually takes place when the people that are spending the money get sick and tired of being sick and tired, and stop giving up their money for a bad product.

The very worst thing for a top college QB entering the NFL draft, is the worst team in the NFL has first dibs on who they want to pick, and if they pick the top college QB, he is screwed, or if they trade that pick for a bunch of picks, they can get screwed there also bc if a team is willing to give up a bunch of picks to move up and get the top college QB, they are most likely a junk team that is wanting to try and build around a top QB. I see it as top college QB will get screwed with their first NFL contract!!!!!!

Hold on a sec. Let's be clear about two things:
1 DW4's rookie contract was slotted based on where he was drafted. The higher the better.
2 If he can walk under his own power after this season is over, he will re-sign for ~$35 million/year, ~$110 million guaranteed like Jared Goff just did. Probably more.
Unless a catastrophic injury occurs, money isn't the issue for DW4. Look at what happened with Carson Wentz, where even a gruesome injury didn't stop him from being paid.
I want DW4 to have a Hall of Fame career and win a couple of SBs for my hometown NFL team instead of piddling around in mediocrity because of incompetent ownership.

As a pitcher, the demand on DJ's time for baseball would be much less.
What Nuk did with basketball and Kyle Parker with baseball meant they had to be with the team for all practices and games and lots of stuff in between.
Depending on how DJ is used as a pitcher, there is a chance that he could still be almost full time with football as far as meetings and spring practice while also showing up and getting any throwing or pitching done with the baseball team.
I have no idea what Monte or Dabo actually want out of DJ in the spring, but his baseball schedule could be very light and it wouldn't prevent him from contributing to the pitching staff.
