but boy was it bad on Saturday. Fortunately, it didn't create an issue for us but 4 punts for 32.8 yd./punt isn't even good middle school performance. We dang near drop kicked one of them that never got more than 10 ft. off the ground.

That will bite us at the wrong time if it doesn't get fixed. Every team I watch seems to have a good, consistent punter. I don't know why we struggle in this area. Spiers finally became a good kicker but it took 2+ years to get him there.

I really hope Saturday was just a bad game and not a trend.

Although, sadly, the way Wake was moving the ball, with the aid of our poor DB play and the zebra laundry, field position didn't really matter a whole lot in that game, at least not theirs.

Some teams HAVE TO develop a great kicker. Tigers aren’t one of those teams.

A really good one can be a great weapon. I don't know if we've had one like that since the Gardocki/Pinion days.

I did 13 hrs ago and it was not a positive post. Surely there is someone who can kick the ball further than 30 yds at a height greater than 20 ft on the Clemson campus. It is going to cost us dearly at some point.
