Focus of spring: Going from No. 2 to No. 1

Spring practice is about new beginnings, and Monday’s first practice of the spring was about the beginning of a process that will take Clemson from number two to number one. Head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media Monday to discuss the start of the spring, and he said this spring is about trying to get his team to number one. Full Story »

Where our football program is. We keep getting better daily, I keep thinking and hoping that all these young men get the chance to play.

The way we recruit it seems it would be scary for some of the older recruits that have waited to play and then get beat out by a freshman phenom. Then I remember the team and all the players will be better and have better chance to be seen and even backups at Clemson make it in the NFL. If they are good enough they will be better.

Clemson has been the best place for recruits to play football for a long but now the whole world knows.

Dabo talked about opening Christmas presents last year when the new recruits came to practice. Everyday has been like Christmas for all of us who love Clemson lately. It's nice to know we will be challenging for a championship every year now.

Our offense is going to be sick as Scott called it last year if they put it all together, and it's all together in an awesome way.

Nobody wants to play Clemson and the best is yet to come.

Fix special teams and we could be the first team in the last century to go 15-0 and throw in a Heisman trophy with a rematch where we blitz the Tide 35-0.

I agree. Fix the specialty teams and teach the young defenders and the sky is the limit! Offensively, we will average 45 a game, IMO.

I am 'later' to reply than i had hoped, and was gonna say to all the tnet armchair coaches who have been trying to coach out or resolve the Tiger's 2015 'weaknesses' via this forum "Read the second paragraph and know that HCDS and staff have got this ..." , but i see I'm too late...

I watched Dabo's full press conference last night when I got home from work. He answered a lot of the questions I had been wondering about.
