MOst were booked until February and I was on a waiting list. They called me yesterday and had a cancelation so i jumped on it.

Hoping yours goes better than my last one. He used the maximum amount of Novocain and I could still feel the cold sensation when she tested. They were going to send me home to try another day, but I said, “oh hail no, I’m here and we are doing this.” Famous last words. He did help me out by dousing it with Eugenol (clove oil) once the top of the tooth was cut off. Just remember to be tough and white knuckle your way through it if that comes your way. In the old days all they had was whiskey and toughness.

Get the nitrous and some real pain meds, none of that Tylenol BS… 2-3 beers should do it after that. Be gentle on the old liver…

I had one a few years ago. In a word, sucked. Best thing I learned was that taking 2 ibuprofen and one tylenol is better for oral pain than opioids.
You may want your beer at room temp, in case of any sensitivities. I recommend then a quadrupel ale, maybe with some hints of fruit. These are good at room temp, in a tulip style beer glass.

Had 2. Nothing to it. Didn't feel a thing. Worse part is it took several hours for each procedure.
