Me Oklahoma has offered BV the job for 8-million per year (now it’s up to him to decide). I’ve been a T-net member since 1998 and have never made any type of fake rumor post. I’m just stating what I was just told.

I could give the exact description of how close this person is but the family would know exactly who told me this. Out of respect I will not do it. I sooo hope BV stays.. he’s our best coach.. but 8-mil is a huge amount of money.

If what you're saying is true and you don't want your friend to get into any trouble then you may want to take this down to protect him. I can only imagine that the list of people BV would trust with this type of information is a pretty short one.

Please go ahead and remove the mystery-- Identify your friend who is apparently so close with Venables that Venables would be comfortable and trusting enough to share highly sensitive/confidential information with your friend before he even decided whether to take the job. Again.. I really could care less if anyone likes my post or even vaguely believes it. Heck.. I wouldn’t believe it either lol. I’m just passing what I was just called and told. If BV doesn’t go this post will be irrelevant as some of you want it to be. Nothing would make me happier as well ?

Reason why I think this is BS is I just don’t see BV telling anyone but his wife about an offer until they made a final decision. If there’s going to be a leak it’ll come out of Norman.

If Brent does stay at Clemson then we are truly blessed. I personally would love for this to be over so we can look forward to our bowl game. I also think with Cade coming in at QB we can get back to being a top 4 team. I personally believe QB is the missing piece.
