a transfer from Clemson? And I think that's a great point to tell a recruit when they see that the "room" (QB, running back, WR, etc.) is full. Transfers are going to happen in today's world and I hope they stay long enough to get a degree from Clemson.

The next few years could be weird since this year is apparently not counting against eligibility. The cadence of people graduating, leaving early, etc is going to make roster management that much more fun.
Suppose we'll probably lose a bit to attrition, but I'd be ok if we start a little pipeline of Clemson early-graduates to USF or something.

I hate losing what we had longer than others, but college FB is a sport to where the best players usually win at the highest percentage. And if some of our guys think/believe they would get more playing time elsewhere, I wish them the very best of luck, and thank them for choosing to be a Tiger when they were more talented than what we had when they committed to be a Tiger. We should never be angry with a player that wants to do better for themselves. Good luck to them, and wish the best for them if they haven't said or done anything to hurt the school, or to pissss the fan base off!!!

I don't expect Lyn-J back next year one way or another. I think he other goes pro or leaves the program, depending on how the season goes.

and earning playing time. I wouldn't rule him out yet. I like his unique running style. He runs hard and finishes.
If he indeed does get beat out by the freshmen, yea he'd be crazy not to go somewhere else and play a major role.

i would assume one of the QBs will transfer. Two freshmen. Dabo said both will play on Sunday. I would assume 1 will transfer and start somewhere.
I will guarantee you either one of them would be starting this year at half the schools playing now.

I know his stat line doesn't look like much, but i was only half paying attention to the game when he got in and got his 1st carry, and i just immediately said "whoa, who was that?" Some guys just look different and i think he's one of them. He came pretty close to breaking a couple for big yardage.

would not be surprised. Bowman and Pace are huge upgrades. Lyn J is still the clear number 2.

Agreed there are too many RBs in the room but with COVID hanging around, 1-2 might be out any week this season.
Because everyone gets an extra year of eligibility, nobody will be red-shirted so no reason to hold back Bowman or Pace.
Will Shipley and Phil Mafah come on board next year.
I could see one or both of Mikey and Chez leaving. If LJD clearly sees he won't be the starter in 2021, he's gone.

Yeah, I think 2 will leave because of lack of playing time. You can't play them all every game.
