scheduled to launch in the next hour.
Largest rocket in history, first fully re-usable rocket, payload bay with the capacity of a 747.
This flight will expend both stages(The actual Starship and the 33 engine booster) and will be sub-orbital(velocity just below orbital) so that it can splash down off Hawaii. The booster is going to land in the Gulf of Mexico.
Going forward the actual starship will propulsively land doing the belly flop maneuver while the booster will return to the launch site and be "caught" by a pair of chopstick landing arms.

You would think that a nation with this intellect would be able to figure out a way to fix the problems within the government!
I guess rocket science isn’t controlled by politicians

Military and the myths of it's might.... For a very cheap price and zero American lives lost.
Anyone against the proxy war in Ukraine is against America.

winning and Russia was advancing pretty aggressively? Also it talked about how our President basically is fighting and sending our soldiers that was never voted on or approved by congress or any other branch of governance.
Taking everything you hear by our news as fact is a tricky thing.

It also will be powerful enough to retrieve actual satellites.
Additionally, it is a private test flight so it doesnt involve any governmental money, just Elon Musk's.

Money invested in space exploration has roughly a 4-1 return ratio. Space Junk? SpaceX utilizes reusable vehicles.
The scientific advancements from space exploration have made a profound impact. I bet you're on your iPhone as we speak - tech made possible from knowledge gained from space exploration.
Give NASA, SpaceX, Space Force, Blue Origins, Boeing all the money they want.

Is taking cancer medication that was developed on the ISS. I am fascinated by space travel, and not to mention a lot of the components used to make the rockets are manufactured right here in South carolina!

Something like three thousand people worked on the space shuttle program. All were left jobless after the retirement of the program in 2011 - but the bigger problem was there wasn't a replacement program in place to keep manned flights going. I'm glad we're back to launching Americans into orbit from US soil and not having to rely on the #### Russians.

I got to cousins and a niece trying to smuggle through what they called "the last frontier." They said they were giving a ride on the largest transport ever to the new frontier. Wasn't really sure what they were talking about.
I havent been able to get in touch with them the past couple of minutes though.

Yep, we will circle the moon one more time and come back home. It will bring back valuable info that we already have. That money could have been used for so many useful things here on Earth. For the one who gave me the thumbs down, please explain that for us.
