I already know we should have beaten FSU by 30 but I have no idea how they'll spin the recruiting to make Dabo look like a cheerleader instead of a real coach yet.

Meh, it's an attempt at being realistic. There some recruits who probably should have gotten preferred walk-on status but got full scholarships due to their connections to the program. Other than a few of those, it was an all-time class for the Tigers.

So is it that bad that someone pointed out the fact that this recruiting class has 2 unranked (across all the recruiting sites) LB's, when those scholarships could have been used somewhere else?

it's one thing to suggest clemson should not offer a particular player, it's another to call "blabo[choose an alternative?]" &/or staff stupid for doing so.
you might not agree with his reasoning, i get that and i can see where that frustration or worry lies and breeds.

They do have a few good in depth posts every now and then. Quackingtiger does a good job evaluating recruits imo.
