My concerns make me a coot or worry wart in the minds of a number of fellow tigernetters and alumni. I simply wondered why we are losing these number of one on one recurring battles after being in the playoffs so many years in a row? What does it take to get and the keep the lead with these players? Is their a bad rumor out there about us and putting players in the league? Please don’t give me the bagman crap!!!

We already knew about it a few days ago. You weren't breaking any news.

maybe in this case it could simply be that the young man saw too many good players already here and therefore a lack of playing time.sure the leghumpers went out of their way to point this out.

time. Clemson will be fine. As far as the playoffs are concerned, we are on an entirely different level than UGA. They won’t beat Bama and they know it.

I don't think we are an entirely different level than Georgia. We will learn a lot when we play them.

Agree. You're gonna know a lot more about both teams at the end of that game.

Georgia can be as good as anyone for one game.

With Kirby and their culture, they just don't seem to be able to keep it together for a full season. They will lose to the chickens or somebody else they shouldn't. I'm sure we will get their best shot.

If I were recruiting a LB against us...
I’d point out -
- Mike Jones left and went to LSU..what does that tell you about Clemson LB depth? - Our actual depth chart at LB...which BTW doesn’t include Barrett Carter...he’s listed as a safety .. I doubt he will stay at safety though .. - Our bad losses against OSU and LSU...
We will be fine honestly ...but yes this one hurts ..
Also to the folks implying something shady went on .,, by all accounts Walker is a good kid from a good family ..please stop with that nonsense...
UGA has never had a problem recruiting- Winning championships is a different story, but UGA always recruits well...

this Matt Luke guy has been on quite a roll at UGA as a recruiter this year. You do not find it kind of odd that One guy, new to the program, is landing all of these 5 star recruits?

You are a coot, troll and worry wart plus idiot all rolled up in one. The UGA machine has always brought great talent to Athens with one single title in the last thousand years. Meanwhile Clemson does ok with what talent we are able to attract after the SEC gets their picks of the litter

Trotter was the 2nd rated ILB in the nation. Barrett Carter was the #1 rated OLB in the nation. The SEC teams wanted them.

I haven't done the research but I think if you go back a thousand years UGA as two championships.
1980 and 500 AD? I will delig deep into my collection of scrolls and cave drawings to find the 1st one. BTW the Athens TD club voting UGA # 1 with three loses does not count

UGA has passed Clemson in talent as far as 1-85 scholarship players. Georgia just simply can’t get out of their own way when it comes to winning big game’s.
When you lose a Dan Brooks and Jeff Scott, who were 2 of the more dominant recruiters in the South, it’s tough to expect a Tyler Grisham (former GA)and Todd Bates(former Troy) to not miss a beat.

For all the disappointments Georgia has had the last several years. . . it does seem strange they can still preach the crap and people buy it.

Your a foot or a Dog because you posted like 5 times about the same crap. And you come accross as a Dog or coot trying to stir things up and watch us complain.
Either way our program is light years ahead of the coots and they will never sniff a Natty. UGA is still behind even with 3 or so #1 classes because Smart isn’t such a Smart coach.

overall if you averaged recruiting classes over the last 25 years. They always have elite talent. ALWAYS. The NFL draft proves that every year. And it's always been that way, since I followed recruiting before the internet... when your only source was a handful of magazines and calling 1-900 numbers for $1.99 a minute.
So they always have the best talent. In fact, they were the most "talented" team in the nation last year. Check it out: https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CollegeTeamTalentComposite/2020 College Football Team Talent Composite In order to create the most comprehensive Team Recruiting Ranking without any notion of bias, 247Sports Team Recruiting Ranking is solely based on the 247Sports Composite Rating.

win it all... just the law of averages. LOL. Will it finally be this year? Maybe, we'll see. They certainly have a good shot. But I quit worrying about the "talent gap" and all of their 5-star recruits long ago... LONG AGO. Besides, there's still puddles of tears in the floor around their feet from losing Watson & Lawrence to us. We're not gonna get em all, so let them celebrate their most recent recruiting wins against us. No harm in that. We'll be OK.
