Seriously, I don’t know how anyone can take many positives out of this team’s performance through 2.5 games.

We are literally still in the midst of the 2nd greatest overall winning streak - IN THE HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. Not just Clemson history. If that is “###” then nothing is going to make you happy. The point of that is that almost no one, ever, does what Clemson has done. History says that we will fall back to earth. How about give the architect of that streak a chance to course correct. He hasn’t even had a bad season yet and you’re ready to bury him. And no, regardless of your expectations, last season was not a bad season. Any season that cements the 2nd longest 10 game winning season streak in the history of the sport is not a bad season. Your expectations have been completely divorced from reality. And yes, watching this game sucks. But I drink myself blind watching Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence on occasion too.

Can I believe that the team has regressed but that Dabo is more than capable of dealing with it without my (or anyone else’s) input on TNet? I can’t imagine any other reason to point out the decencies other than the delusional belief your pointing out something that isn’t seen and think it will make a difference or that you’re trying to build a negative consensus about the coach. Or do you just really need to flex on the internet that bad?

Oh that tired," they don't need our advice" b.s. If all you can talk about is the positives then you are not much of football fan.
The fact is that this offense is just continuing the mediocrity of last year because we kept the mindset and coaching that made talented players mediocre last year. If you call beating a bunch of also rans in a cake schedule an accomplishment then I feel sorry for you.
A team that is ranked number 5 should not be in a close game with LA Tech. This team should not be ranked in the top ten. The only reason we are is because of respect for the two recent championships.

Cade has “it”. DJ doesn’t. To be fair, DJ is improved but he is a pro style qb placed in an rpo mobile qb offense. That’s a coaching error. We need a spark that can hopefully rise above our average coaching on offense. Defense needs an a$$ kicker on the sidelines. They lack the razor’s edge mentality that V brought.

How about this - only the w/l record matters. If Clemson makes the playoffs none of this will matter. If we don’t you can beat your chest about how right you were. But we’ve made the playoffs with losses to bad teams - much less simply playing down to our opponent. Which also happened almost every season. But make the championship and / or winning erases those memorizes and completely skews perception. And now that we - gasp - only won 10 games those of you that can’t wait to be first in line for the fire someone train are just unstoppable. Wish you’d at least pay an ounce of attention to basketball ffs.

They’ve never enjoyed a moment of our run except maybe the thirty seconds after our national championships. Every game we are going to lose. Everything that goes wrong is a disaster and we need to fire this person or bench that one. The other teams never get any credit for anything they are just blocking dummies and we should be rolling up everyone by 60+. It’s miserable to listen to I can only imagine how miserable they are.

Your message board histrionics are tiresome. The three worst teams on the schedule have been able to significantly hurt Clemson in the passing game, and all three have been able to limit Clemson's offense, specifically the downfield passing game and the running game. They will simply have to play better against the rest of the schedule if they want to win an ACC championship or National championship.
I hope they are just playing sloppy so far. I don't know for sure if that's the case.

Missouri State is beating #10 Arkansas in THEIR house right now. South Florida is playing Florida close @ Florida.
Like others have already said -- I don't think anyone is against critiquing the on field performance but some of y'all are losing your heads like we're a sub .500 team hoping we sneak into a bowl game.
IDC about winning championships in September -- this team has time to grow and put it together. We may get beat, we may not. Coaching changes may be on the way, they may not. Gotta let the season play out though.
Plenty of folks had us maybe winning 7-8 games last year and we won 10. Ugliest season we've had since Kyle Parker's last year and this might be another ugly year but I choose to be supportive in seeing this team play it out vs feeding into the vitriol of the sky is falling early in the season.

My argument would be that Arkansas and Florida have not been remotely close to winning a national championship in the last decade, so I don't really care that those teams are struggling. That fact that they are struggling simply reinforces that point.
