You shave and even up your sideburns. Then you brush your teeth, look back into the mirror and the left side is just a little bit longer so you take the razor and even them up. Then you put on the after shave take a look in the mirror and lo and behold the right side is longer. You even that up, blink your eyes and dammint the left side is longer. Back and forth you go until you have no side burns at all.
Problem solved.
