watching tonight. What stands out clear as day to me with a major difference between Brady and Mac Jones compared to DJU5……their feet. Jones and Brady’s feet are always moving….or bouncing (even with zero pressure) as they stand in the pocket. DJU5 feet stands stone still in the pocket. Feet stuck to the ground.

Lol, it is hard to believe that after all these years that Tom Brady still thinks a QB has to set his feet, point his non-throwing shoulder toward the receiver, step into the throw, maintain a proper throwing motion, etc. I mean that’s just crazy techniques they only teach to quarterbacks on junior varsity teams! You watch, Brady will be completely out of the league in less than 10 years.

Maybe because Brady is the GOAT, it is unfair to compare a young, inexperienced DJU to him. I give you the Jones comparison but there was a reason the the Pats drafted him. DJ is learning so don't panic, yet.

Jones also took 4 full years to develop

at Bama. He was never really impressive until last season when it all clicked. He got plenty of PT behind Tua and started quite a few games when Tua was hurt

Try watching Trevor. Sure his team is 0-4 and he has made plenty of rookie mistakes, but watch the guy in the pocket. He is a young Tom Brady.
