Boys Game...

So, we have a 4-0 lead going into the bottom of the 4th. Virginia gets one run, then a monsoon hits. The umps kept the inning going... and going...several walks and wild pitches later, the game is tied 4-4, two outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd...THEN they decide to delay the game! It was obvious after the first wild pitch that the rain was making it impossible to continue, but they waited for the tying run to score before they stopped play... It is in the rain delay now.

behind home plate showed hardly any rain. The outfield shot looked like a monsoon, and the sun was shining.
Still, Monte left Mack in too long. Lindley should have began warming when the 4th started due to Anglin's past history.

I agree that it wasn’t raining that hard. Fans were still sitting in stands. Game was delayed for lightning strike in the area. Most likeLy would have continued the inning if not for that.

Normally, for there to be ANY water pooling on a baseball field like that, it is hard rain...
