Who have went from position coach to head coach and has won an Acc title and has been to 2 in 3 years? Heck even coordinator who has? I'll wait for you to post that long list

That's just idiotic. He's a great guy, and he clearly wants to win at Clemson. He's clearly doing his best and he's fully dedicated.
I think a more interesting study than the one you suggested would be this: How many coaches have beaten Virginia Tech twice ON THE ROAD in the same season as winning shootouts against Wofford and Wake Forest AT HOME?
A football team must have a defense. If Clemson doesn't have one this season, the head coach will be held responsible, regardless of how nice he is or the level of dedication he vocalizes publically. That's not hate; it's common sense. Get some.

guess you forgot mr flying. dabo made a change at d coordinator. i know he is not in your league in the area of football knowledge but he saw a problem and made a change.

Is Dabo > Bowden he is no Ford but Mr Dabo had done more in 3 years than tammy(also "a nice guy") did in his entire time........offence was bad made a change ......defence was bad made a change........the orange bowl and 3 game losing streak to usuck hurt acc champs is nice

please keep in mind that steele was not dabo's first choice for d co-ordinator..he wanted ellis johnson and the administration would not let him hire ellis. can u imagine what would have happened if we had ellis johnson the last 3 years? i think barker and tery don need to go way before dabo

Not a Dabo hater, but last Clemson coach to have losing record to coots - Frank Howard - 13-15-2. Of course most of those games were Big Thursday and always in Columbia.
Howard also won the ACC more than any coach

Ralph Friedgen and Bobby Ross both won ACC titles in their first 3 seasons as an HC. Ross was a ST coordinator with the KC Chiefs prior to his HC job, and a Maryland assistant years before that. Friedgen was an OC. Spurrier also won an ACC title in his 3rd year at Duke, but he had HC experience with a defunct pro league before that. It was, however, Spurrier's first 3 years as a college coach of any kind, and had no prior experience with NCAA rules or the recruiting of athletes before he took over.

When Dabo was hired I wanted Troy Calhoun.
Dabo has improved a ton in the past 3 years. He has started working off his strengths and is doing a great job.
I am completely happy with Dabo as our HC. The coot thing will take care of itself.
