can someone explain how 247 has Georgia ahead of Clemson in the 2022 rankings?

They both have 12 commits. 235.33 total for Georgia. 235.13 for Clemson.

But, Clemson has an average of 93.79 compared to 93.68 for Georgia. What am I missing?

I get that it doesn't matter, but as upside down as this world has gotten, can I at least rely on basic math these days?!

It's a weighted bell curve system, so that 235 is a sum of that weighted value per player. It's also has to deal with position rankings. Here's a write up of examples

You can see that weighted value as "+ XX.X" numbers in grey boxes beside the player. Sum those.
