I don't blame the defense one bit.

PLaying your heart out every game, getting hurt, giving 110% and the offense continues to let the team down and the coaches won't make necessary changes.

You can throw a lot of blame around but you can't put any on this defense.

NO help from the other side of the ball.

They have failed numerous times to deliver this season when the offense has changed the momentum late in the game. GT, NC State, Syracuse and today all come to mind. Championship D's don't fail like this when the O gives you momentum in the 4th quarter of games.

Probably because they were on the field for so long in those games that they were gassed by the 4th.

Agreed. People don't understand how worn out the defense is from being on the field the entire year.. then throw in all the injuries. We also have several players playing that are too young and several players that have no business starting for a program like Clemson.

The coaching staff better start getting with the program in today's modern age and if you are not going to use the portal, you better start signing a lot more quality high school players. The number of quality scholarship players is way way too low.

3rd down D is atrocious. Like not top 50. Not the reason we suck and probably due to O but they’re nothing to brag about.

Full team effort - everyone shares. even special teams gave away a point. I know the player are frustrated, but we seem to not have that edge to our play... and schemes.

I did notice that Simpson was frustrated at being pulled out on the last 3rd down - he is bringing effort

The worst part about the Defense is they continually give up the slant over the middle of the field many times each game. Usually on third down.
