-Paul Finebaum on Clemson beating Bama 44-16...

Shows just a LITTLE bit of bias, you think?

He also said he didn't think Clemson had played any "real" competition. He may be right, they may not have, but it appears somebody else didn't either!!

The saddest thing I noticed about the Championship game was that Duke put up a better fight!! :)

Told my Bama friends for months that they weren't #1 until they beat us.

Most responses mocked ACC competition, to which i always replied, "You may be right. Since nobody has tested the Tigers all year, we have no idea how good we are."

Then i always shut them up with this thought, which turned out to be prophetic: "Dabo prepares his team like a great trainer prepares a thoroughbred in springtime: he paces the team's development, and holds the team back for 3/4 of the season. Then when the championship run comes, they're ready to show what they can do. Nobody, including Dabo, knows just how good they can be then."
