did have a face grill, however. I don't care for the transfer portal at all. It seems to me it can hurt team morale to have someone come in from the outside and start over someone who has been around for a while. Then too when someone transfers from another program to yours it is usually someone who could not make the first string there. It just doesn't feel right. I respect that Dabo knows what is best for this team and not the fans.

it's kinda like when they started seating people according to how much money they donate to iptay. it was frowned upon cause it was replacing the 'good ole boy' system of pay the minimum and keep your seats. but, to keep up w/ the landscape of college football, clemson HAD to adopt the system of higher revenue. and, i think dabo/clemson will have to accept and take advantage of the transfer portal. i don't like it, either. it makes the "commitment" worthless. but, if other top teams are gonna use the portal as a "quick fix" to their issues, then clemson is gonna have to do it, too, or take a step back. right now, clemson IS using the transfer portal, but only the negative side of it w/ guys leaving but not coming in.

i know dabo wants to win the "nicest" most honorable way possible.. and, i respect that, but when bama is doing something you're not, and they're visibly moving further away from you in the right direction, it's time to start taking note.
