Louisville

Jan 7, 2014, 8:48 PM

Bobby Petrino interviewed today with Tom Jurich. Brett McMurphy reports that Petrino is one of 3 finalists. As we noted on Twitter earlier today, sources tell us that Petrino is a real possibility here. Louisville has called a Thursday morning athletic board meeting where it is believed the new hire will be approved. Per footballscoop

Is Greg Shiano in consideration?

Would've thought the former Rutgers and Tampa Bay coach would be getting some looks. Don't know much about him but he seems to have a personality like a dead moth.

Petrino is good. They will be tough with him***

I would hate for UL to hire Petrino...............

The man is one heck of an offensive mind and his passing attacks are potent and high flying. And in our division.....no thanks!

Come on. Would make for exciting games.***

Petrino would be bad news for Clemson. Regardless of his actions off the field the man can absolutely coach.

Fool me twice, shame on me...

At least Louisville knows what they are getting:

I could see him coaching at an SEC school, but I think of the ACC as having a little more integrity than that.

Louisville and Jurich .....

Have lacked integrity lately. Them hiring Petrino makes perfect sense to me.

Petrino beat our (I am a USC fan) a$$e$ while he was at Arky...

He is a good coach.

I do question his character though...

I mean after Muschamp gets canned this year...will he jump to Florida?
