It's not a matter of Cole not bein a good person or not having the heart or desire... the problem is that he is inept at the QB position..must be the same people always claiming that he is being booed

He has not played well. Saying he has not played well is not "bashing". Personal attacks, impugning his character, stuff like that...that would be "bashing".
Stoudt currently ranks #110 out of 129 quarterbacks who have compiled enough statistics to be measured be ESPN's QBR - quarterback rating. By comparison, Deshaun Watson ranks #2 overall, just behind Marcus Mariota...so it's hard to blame the personnel around Stoudt. He has failed to lead Clemson to a touchdown now on 27 consecutive drives, and the offense has gone 3-and-out more than 65% of the time with Stoudt at the helm.

That ain't "bashing". Them's just the numbers.
Clemson has to get better production out the of the quarterback position, that's plain. Granted, stepping in cold, with an injury, in a week he did not practice was not going to help Stoudt's production any. But he was not injured against UGA or FSU and was ineffective in both games, and he wasn't particularly productive against SC State either. And his current production to date does invite the question: would Clemson be better off with Nick Schuessler or David Olson under center?
It's a legit question. Those guys, as Chad Morris has said, are on scholarship for a reason. If one player is not being sufficiently productive, you have to try something else. That's the reality of competitive sports. I suspect Stoudt will get 3-4 drives to establish something, anything against BC...and if he continues to be ineffective and goes 3-and-out, I suspect he'll be pulled in favor of Schuessler - an admittedly unknown quantity who may not be any more effective. But you gotta try. "Supporting" a QB until both he and the fans need to be fitted for straitjackets (or traction!) helps nobody; we watched that happen time and time again under Tommy Bowden. When a guy is drowning: bail him out. Don't let the whole merciless load crush one guy.
I also agree booing a player at a game isn't just wrong - c'mon, we're supposed to be supporting our team here - it's also ounterproductive. It's like: are we trying to get a guy who's already clearly got rattled composure to melt down altogether? How does that help Clemson any?
