76 take care.I've had all of the covid vax's, 4 in all. Two were
boosters.I've heard Vaxed folks can get it but it isn't bad enough
to go to the Hospital. I'm trying to be cautious but you never know.

Creamy or Crunchy?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Peter Pan or Jif creamy. Keep that crunchy stuff away.

For the same reason that I do not ever want celery or onions in my potato salad. Something that is supposed to be soft and smooshy should not have a crunchy surprise inside.

Hate is a four letter word that is disliked by many. I only refer to it one time in my vocabulary. I hate Brussel Sprouts.

Barcardi Raspberry is a drink that will open things up and help the senses come alive.

It is indeed a sacrilege not being able to taste a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

At all costs keep eating

I had Covid in September 2021 and again in January 2022 and lost my smell and taste in September 2021 and still have a problem smelling and tasting some things. Sweets still taste the same and some flowery smells are normal but many others are not. Well with the cost of electricity at least I don't have to run the fan in the bathroom right now.

Lost my smeller/taster in Nov 2020 when I got the 'vid

Dec 16, 2022, 12:17 PM

Took a few months to get back but most folks do get it back. You can have some fun with this loss of smell thing. Things like sceptic tank cleaning can be fun now. Then again I've never had a sceptic tank.

Sending my prayers for you. Keep your spirits up.

Had three weeks of covid durng Oct 2020. Couldn't eat much of anything as always felt on the verge of nausea. Could barely get down milkshakes my late wife served as well as other fluids, jello and apple sauce. Lost about 12 lbs. Also had intense headaches a!ong with head and chest congestion. Ran a low grade fever just three times. Wife forced me to go to the ER the third week as was acutely dehydrated. Two days later after some meds and fluids there, began to feel much better with some appetite returning. Taste and smell came back within a few days. Definitely watch hydration. Good luck with your recovery.

Well, sorry for the lack of enjoyment your are experiencing with one of life's simple pleasures, but while you're suffering, don't waste your money on high end peanut butters.
