The people on the GA Tech forums are talking about how dominant their defense was yesterday against us and how it was one of their best performances in a while.
However, they did not get a true test as our offense was stagnant without Watson (the performance of it took a huge drop when he went out due to injury).
They will get a real test when they play Georgia. Georgia has horses at running back. Their running game is basically a polar opposite of ours, and, in generally, the team has a great offense.
It will be a fun game to watch for sure.
I enjoyed watching Georgia woodshed Auburn last night, 34 to 7.

managed one TD and two FGs. Eliminate our turnovers (two TD's directly by int's, and a FG set up by a third int), and we could have found a way to win, even after the injury to DW. It might have taken 5 FG's, but we would have had a chance.

Who cares if Ga Tech loses to UGA by 1 or 100? Heck UGA beat our tails too.
The Jackets beat us, because we don't have functional team without a true freshman QB.
We have our own problems to worry about.

They routed Missouri 34-0 without Gurley.
They have a lot better depth, and Chubb is turning out to be really good as well.

a first and ten inside their 10 and kicked a field goal. Then we were first and ten at the 14 and were probably going to get a td. That would have been 10 points on three drives and 4 minutes still remaining in the first quarter. When Watson went down, any defense could have stopped us as evidenced by the previous four weeks.

GT - 353 total yards, 251 rushing (5.0 ypc) and 102 passing (8/11 for 1 TD/0 INT).
CU - 190 total yards, 125 rushing (3.9 ypc) and 65 passing (12/22 for 0 TD/3 INT).

Uga's defense is hard to figure.
I think it will make a difference if Uga is prepping for the SEC title game or not. If they are, then GT has an advantage.
Ofcourse, a Duke loss and GT will be going to Clt also.

won that game. They're a good team and very opportunistic.
Personally, I was shocked at how poorly Cole Stoudt played. The kid looked as if he had never seen a pigskin in his life.
But give the Yellow Jackets credit for interceptions and holding the Tigers in check.
As to how they'll do against UGA, Paul Johnson always scares me, and I hope my team will be prepared.
My last words are that you should respect your opponent, especially a rival, and be humble in victory and graceful in defeat.

Took the air right out of the team, offense and defense. THREE ints.
It had the look of a good thumping with DW in. I can't see us losing that game if he's in the whole time. I think reasonable GT fans would agree.

Uga running all over Tech will really make us look good, will it not?
Hopefully Tech beats UGA. We can then say we got beat by a good team. I would hate to say we got beat by a team that sucks.

No one has been able to stop their running game all year, including Florida & South Carolina.
The only reason they didn't gain more rushing yards against Florida is because they fell behind and had to throw it.
Even with Gurley out, Chubb is almost as good. They will feed him the ball, and try to wear us out.
Our best chance to win the game is for our offense to get up on them early and put pressure on them instead of the other way around.
