DirectTV NOW currently not with ACC Network but

the rep today said their team is working to add it and we should be assured that they will have it but they have no estimated timetable.

Based on this I recommend:
-have a backup plan for Aug 29 viewing like Hulu or another provider that does
-continue to contact DiretTV Now asking for it
-be ready to cancel DirectTV Now that seems to be falling apart as we speak

and going with Hulu Live TV. It's cheaper, has just as good a lineup, and will have the ACC Network. Directv Now also hasn't had NBC or CBS for weeks now because of contract disputes, so it's a good time and reason for me to switch.

The beauty of the streaming services is there are no contracts and each one will have to keep sweetening their deals to stay competitive, so it helps the consumer.

No contracts with spectrum either. That's a satellite thing***

On March 12, 2019, agreement was reached with the largest provider DirecTV.[17] Live television streaming services Hulu with Live TV, PlayStation Vue, and YouTube TV also have signed agreements to carry the channel at launch.[18] On August 14, Charter Communications agreed to carry ACCN as part of a new carriage agreement covering all Disney networks (including those acquired from 21st Century Fox).

DirecTV & DirecTV Now are two different things. DTV Now

is for streaming, and they don't have an agreement with ACCN, even though DirecTV does.
