Gossett and Crownover will give us a shot at any series, against anyone. But we need Campbell to get back 100% and a couple others to step up. Erwin and Lovorn this week offered some hope. Moving Baum to short seems to be paying some dividends.

I agree....Goose, Crownover, and Campbell constitute the nucleus of a good tournament, short-term staff. And as you mentioned, Erwin has looked very good from time to time this season....btw, I was only able to watch on tv today, but while Campbell didn't look like midseason, he didn't do too badly, IMO. Just a small amount of help from the rest of the staff as necessary and a little timely hitting offers the Tigers at least a chance of making a run deep into the conference and regional tourneys....a sweep of these last two reg. season series would go a long way in building some offensive momentum and confidence

I'm amazed at the lack of info as to what happened to Campbell. He disappeared for at least 2 weeks, pretty much as soon as Gossett came back. I assume he was hurt but haven't seen anything anywhere about it. If he's shaking the rust off then yesterday and today were fine.

Oh,and I guess our competition doesn't have those same young guys,or the experience.
And we have not really been hot all season long,imo.
Oh,I'm not giving up,but we are going to need more than young guys with experience.
You can count on that.
