I am going to miss Elijah, the most mistreated big man

Mar 24, 2019, 4:18 PM

in Clemson history and the ACC....I know sometimes he had fouls that were misguided , but for every dumb fowl , he had three bad calls.... no one has played harder , game in and game out .. sorry if no one else feels that way...

no I agree. Some dumb fouls but plays hard and gets knocked around. somehow the other guy can always get away with what ever is a foul on ET.

We didn’t use him as much as we should have on the inside out game or when we needed points in close games.

We are going to miss him, I’m thankful he came to Clemson and gave his all!!

he was a workhorse, win , lose , or draw...

so frustrating to watch how many times we missed getting the ball to him this year, #### guards should have to run wind sprints for every open pass they refuse to make to a big man in position ...

With no great shooters outside

the inside out game is very limited

Of the games I watched, he got twice as many bad calls

as anybody else in the game on average... This game wouldn't be a good example, but I totally agree, especially when it was an ACC/Tobacco Road affair... Some of these big name ACC refs need to be "retired", early or otherwise.

Why apologize for having an opinion?

But ET. Did not play hard all the time and did not play smart most games.

Played well and we needed him. He went as far as he wanted to go at Clemson. His play when good will be missed, silly fouls no. But he could be dominant when he wanted to be.

I think he always wanted to be dominant , just couldn't get out of the refs way to be dominant ...

And always struggled to finish around the rim

he never had great hopes, which limited his ceiling. Overall though our best big since Booker

Agree!!! He sure played hard...committed way too many stupid fouls and missed a lot of lay-ups(like tonight).
However.....he worked his ### off to gain offensive positioning so many times to not be rewarded. We’ve got to be worse inside “ball distributor” team on record. During a fast break...toward the end of the game....Elijah runs the court and is wide open and Reed doesn’t see him(border line ignored him).
He improved Each year as TIGER...I appreciate his efforts and will miss him.
We will miss presence immensely.!

Next year??? If we’re not the worse team in the ACC, i’ll Be shocked.?? I hope I’m wrong.
Go Tigers!

Yes. I feel sorry for him.

He worked his buttocks off. Hope he gets a look in the NBA.

I’ll miss him, but he should have gotten thrown out today by hitting that center in the back way after the play. That was dirty...
