This was inevitably a sure thing....remember when he was in college and jimmyboy got him and his thugs off on technicalities. I knew then he would wind up in prison sooner than later.

It's a sad situation. But, all indications are that this guy was not a thug or trouble maker in college. (Not at all in the same crowd as Winston.)

Remember the story where the FSU football players were at a school and went to the cafeteria to eat with the students? One of the players noticed a kid sitting by himself. He went over and sat down with the kid. turned out the kid had autism and was shunned by the rest of his classmates. It made national news.

The player was Travis Rudolph.

I'm not in any way defending what Rudolph did. If he's guilty he should be tried and convicted. Just pointing out that the actions of one football player who used to play for a certain university do not carte blanche paint everyone on the team as a bunch of thugs.

Note: I am not defending Jimbo Fisher. I assure you, my opinion of him is lower than virtually everyone who posts on this board.

That’s exactly why I sorta feel bad for the Seminole fan nation, Bret. One person‘s actions, be it Winston or Fisher or Rudolph or Taggert or whomever, are absolutely not representative of an entire school or an entire fan base, but these bad actors keep giving FSU black eye after black eye. I’m tired of hearing it and I’m not even a fan.

We seem to be getting a taste of this with Deshaun - I pray it can be resolved truthfully and quickly, as with the Rudolph case...

Be careful feeling bad for FSU with all the transfers they have taken they will be much better than you think and they are beginning to recruit very well

This has nothing to do with FSU. This player graduated and has played in the NFL. And now sounds like he was unemployed. This is a grown man not a college football player.
