They were never supposed to be more accepting of everything. They were just more accepting about gay marriage, gay people, transgenders, minorities, women's rights, equal pay for women, interracial marriage, integration, legalization of weed, etc. Things like those. They were never accepting of people who were not accepting of those things.

True, conservatives and libertarians, and even most Christians don’t have a problem with really any of those things. White we always hated was having it shoved in our face and force that our throats. I’ve never had a problem with any of it and have friends to fit all of those categories. But it’s when you try and make them out to be special when they’re not. And Martin Luther King was the one that said everyone should be equal not special not different. But that’s exactly what the left does promotes those people as being somehow different and special and they’re not. And because they are minorities that means they are smaller groups and there has always been in fighting among groups in groups and out groups. Even the natives in indigenous people were racist and raped and pillaged harmed the environment everything you people talk about is a false narrative! It’s identity politics. It’s BS! there were some and still are some extremely evangelical Christians that have a problem with some of those things but they’re not really conservatives and they’re certainly not libertarians.. but I meet far more bigoted, narrow minded, angry atheists than I do evangelicals. People on the right are actually far more informed, tolerant, and accepting than on the left and this has been proven over and over again! There are some excellent videos on YouTube showing just how graphic and revealing the differences are! And it’s one of the reasons so many on the left have woken up and moved to the right, because they finally got mugged by the truth!

What I said is accurate and it's not even debatable. Liberals were never accepting or open to everyone. They have just found new ways to keep pushing the envelope. They have never been accepting though of the opposition. It has never been the case.

someone morally bereft, you can't say morals and religion aren't connected.
The Ten Commandments could easily be considered the underpinning of morality. Then, the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, whether you believe he is Christ or not, encourage the morals of loving one another and caring for one another.
I've come to believe that there is God/religion in all of us and that drives us toward positive morality, whether we identify it as such or not.

I have seen plenty. Pretty much most do. Just like there are religious people that have morals and many that don't. Religion doesn't make someone have high morals. Some of the least moral people have been religious. They are all just people.
