But she cheapens it a bit by claiming it hurt her college recruiting; college recruiters can see the issue and figure out. And they did. She now runs for William & Mary and received a scholarship to do so. She also wound up later defeating one of those trans athletes. She's was also an extremely decorated athlete in high school.
I don't disagree with her but she should have left out the collegiate part.

She got to her D1 dreams. She got a scholarship to run D1. Clearly a couple of transgender kids didn't stop that, so she should eliminate that part from her argument. The rest of her points are valid. There's no way a D1 coach is going to look at her and not offer her because a couple of trans kids jumped on the scene late.

Invented just to be an issue. If you have a Y chromosome, you can't compete against only people who have an x. Men and women are not equal. If they were there would be no humans. If I were a woman in a woman's sport league and they accepted "women" with Y chromosomes, I'd quit. It's beyond insanity now.

it's just pure logic and fairness. This young lady did a good job elevating the issue with grace.
I don't really buy the "sky is falling" attitude on this subject...I think it's a very small minority who actually think it's right for "transgender" people to "cross the line" in athletic competition. But it's important that people make a stand like this for competitive fairness, without being mean about it.

This perpetual Foxworld meltdown is exhausting. And they have no idea how they are showing every sign of cult behavior...they are literally being conditioned the same way Jim Jones and Charlie Manson conditioned their chumps: start by first convincing them the world is going to Hades in a handbasket, and teeters on the brink of eminent disaster.
Then of course, it's only this guy here, in his infinite far-seeing wisdom, who can save us all.
Mind, he's a total a$$hole who's going to take your money and your women while he's at it, but common human decency can't be expected of him, he's saving the world, after all. He's got bigger issues, he's not like the rest of us. Get over it already. Here, have some Kool-Aid.
And they fall for it. Over and over and over again, they fall for it.
This transgender crap is just the latest in a long line of culture-war dog whistles Foxworld has come up with to induce that panic. Yeah, it's dumb. And yeah, it's going to get sorted...precisely because it's dumb. Those with "y" chromosomes are not genetically women and have advantages in muscle mass and bone density that can't be dismissed.

Well, sort of.
But the reason it's so much in the news is because it's being used as daily grist as Foxworld for their World Is Ending daily culture war crap.
The reality is, like so many things, it's complicated. We've never as a culture dealt with this before. Obviously there are problems with these T-girls competing with boys, and using boys' locker rooms and playing on boys' teams. If they felt they fit in with boys, they wouldn't have transitioned to begin with. And young male athletes are not known to be, uhm, patient with those they perceive as different than themselves.
On the other hand, they've got obvious advantages in bone density and muscle mass that mean they're not genetically girls either. Is it fair to let them compete against the girls?
This leaves them without an obvious place to compete.
What is the solution here? There is no obvious good answer. Instead of discussing like rational adults, this is getting turned into grist for these endless tiresome culture wars, particularly by the Cult of Fox, and used to panic everybody and get them all riled up at each other, you know?

it's actually BEING DONE. Everything is funny and laughable, until it isn't.
One of my favorite movies is a 90's classic, PCU. It was a comedy about the liberal nutcases on college campuses. It was funny, precisely because it was (back then) Rush Limbaugh, sky is falling, laughable stuff. Well, today....notsomuch. Comedians don't even go to college campuses anymore. What we once poked fun at, and laughed at, is being institutionalized now. It's becoming real, and not the Rush Limbaugh sky is falling stuff.
Transgender "female" athletes, just another example.
Remember the crisis in the military of sexual assaults? It was an epidemic, reported cases were skyrocketing, MSM hand-wringing all the time about it. Same MSM was just a year or two earlier, praising allowing women into combat units.
Just SMH.
Just a life lesson few acknowledge today...."Be careful what you wish for....you just might get it."

Well, yeah...and all these challenges are going to be child's play compared to what's coming next.
What about genetically boosted athletes, those who were either selectively edited from birth, or those who received elective genetic grafts to improve performance? How can the normies possibly be expected to compete with those?
We're scant years away from dealing with that. Actually there's one dipsh!t in China who already was using CRISPR to create a batch of attempted super-babies, so it's already happening.
What about implants? There's going to be a vast variety of biomedical implants that can improve athletic performance. Many of them are already beginning to hit the market. How can those without such tech compete?
Isn't going to get any easier for us as a society. And people are always going to try to find a way to get over the finish line first that others regard as a cheat.

You transition to female you no longer compete in competition that matters. Play on the Rec softball team or whatever but no more real competition. I know some think that’s cruel but it’s the only fair solution.
