Remember the guy who damaged The Rock?

Aug 5, 2020, 9:29 PM

Not Dwayne Johnson.

I live in the area of NC where he lives. I believe that his family does stone work and they just were referred to me for a project that I might do.

I cannot make myself return that call.

Because of that nonsense from M. Rogers... the family cannot have my business.

They messed with The Rock.

They messed with Clemson.

That means something.

I'd call them to do an estimate on a large, heavily secured property that did not belong to me. Simply explain that you need the entire thing clad in their most expensive stone and to take measurements so we can hurry up and order the correct amount.

That won't work because any contractor worth their salt will require a certain percentage of the total cost down before any work is started, and its because of jackholes who act like they want work done and then change their mind.

Why punish a family for the actions of a wayward child? What would Jesus do?

I thought the kid was in jail...

Aug 6, 2020, 8:31 AM

Micah Rogers, the person who vandalized the Rock, was found guilty of malicious damage to property and sentenced to 30 days in jail and a $1,000 fine. However, the judge (probably a a uof6c fan), suspended the sentence and ordered the kid to pay a $750 fine and completes 25 days of community service. The kids father was later charged with conspiracy and obstructing justice for helping his son cover his crime.

Sometime after the incident involving Howard's Rock, I seem to recall that Rogers was arrested again for beating-up a woman.
