Cause 2020 is tied with 2016 for the warmest years in history?
Greenland has lost 279 billion tons of ice per year between 1993 and 2019?
The acidity of the ocean has risen by 30% since the Industrial Revolution?
Also, your stance of "the US shouldn't do anything about global warming because we're responsible for so little of it" is one of the reasons why I'm glad there's only one of you.

I stop short of calling it a crisis. Also - if China and India don't buy in - it doesn't really matter what we do...

Doing nothing isn't the right answer - but fear mongering (we're all doomed if we don't fix it in 10 years) isn't the right answer either.
Edit to say that I don't believe the US is doing nothing. We do much more than most already

I am.
The only ones who really doubt it anymore are those in the MAGA bubble who read too much crap sponsored by pseudoscience bought and paid for mostly by the Koch Brothers, who don't even buy it themselves. It's really kind of 3D chess with them; if you look at what they're investing in and the direction they're orienting Koch Industries you can tell they're fully aware what's coming down the next 20-30 years.
In exactly the same way as the ozone layer was a function of CFC's - which we successfully reduced with the Montreal protocols, mostly banning them in hairspays and other products - and acid rain was a function of nitrogen oxides and especially sulfur dioxides, and was successfully reduced by using scrubbers in coal plants and regulating the industries that were causing it, there's no good reason we can't do the exact same thing with global warming.
Global warming is about carbon, which is a bigger push because it's a lot more products in more countries, but it's not really all that more complicated a concept, the lobbies around it are just a lot bigger and more entrenched.
It's going to get done, by the way, it's just going to get done mostly by the commercial sector and not any one government. The two big techs I see coming that are really going to have a massive effect are "glass" battery tech (in conjunction with graphene tech) and vertical farming, along with carbon sequestration.
Throw in thorium nuclear, as well.
But since you're a troll, none of that is going to register with you at all.

Gosh you're such a linear us-or-them mentality.
No, the Koch Brothers underwrote the Tea Party and started the ball rolling...and then Trump plucked that populist football from the Tea Party and ran right on off with it, much to their dismay. Where they really split with him was on immigration; they're very much pro-immigration because it means a cheaper pool of labor. This is Koch Industries interests, by the way, and is so large it's literally referred to as the "Kochtopus". You can see why they might value labor so highly:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koch_Industries
Doesn't change the fact they sponsored virtually every bit of pseudoscience horror out there claiming there's no such thing as climate change. In 50 years they're going to be regarded in exactly the same light as those Big Tobacco guys who got trotted out in front of Congress and one and all raised their hands and claimed cigarettes didn't cause cancer either.
The Koch Brothers are - or were, since David died last year - oil men, first and foremost. They protected their product. Vigorously.

Not me. I've been hearing this carp for going on 25 years and nothing of consequence has changed. Beachfront real estate prices keeping going up and mortgage lenders keep giving 30 year loans on them. I'm all for keeping pollution down, but it seems the height of arrogance to me to believe that humans can change the climate of the entire earth. Maybe if we set off about 500 nukes at once we could, for a relatively short time.

rate, because measurements say so, and I don't believe the numbers are made up. I believe man's activities are contributing to that, because it just makes logical and scientific sense. I'm not particularly worried about it, though, and don't spend much time thinking about it.

I love some climate change, cause when sh>t gets blown down, we build it again even better the next time. This is because we are a dumb stubborn animal, but it also means more work for me.
Sweating out a CAT 5 that stalled 100 miles to the east of you is no fun though.

Nope pawsnation aka tigermanac®already informed the board years ago that there is actually more ice in the artic than 1925. The matter has been settled.
What you have looks like it was faked in Hollywood, kind of like those extra microphones Biden had at his presser last month.

You know, I lived down in Charleston myself for awhile. James Island, off Maybank Highway. Had a buddy who absolutely ruined me for any other kind of seafood because he owned a boat.
He came from money - his dad was a local wheeler/dealer politician/businessman type (Republican, actually), but his life's aspiration were pretty much limited to being out on his boat as much as possible, shrimping, fishing, and of course, smoking the Mary J, but his dad being who he was, he'd figured out a bunch of side hustles to finance that lifestyle, especially with Fish & Game and a bunch of alphabet-soup agencies, including National Oceanographic, if memory serves. Whatever, you definitely wanted to be around whenever he'd roll home with a full cooler during shrimp season. Though I don't think I could ever have any other kind of shrimp again. Totally ruined me, like I said.
Anyhow, this guy spent a couple hours a day doing test kits and samples for various gubmint agencies, salinity kits, checking for the presence of chemicals in the harbor, taking slide samples from fish he'd caught, stuff like that. Then he'd drop them off on his way home from the marina. Simple as that, really. Just gathering tons and tons of samples and data points, which then got entered into computers. From there a bunch of agencies would use it to make all sorts of models, ranging from everything to the size of the local fish populations to the salinity levels of the harbor to the amount of industrial contaminants in the water. He was actually pretty good at all of that, for a guy with next to zero ambition. And I can promise you he did not have an Illuminati membership card.
You know, science. Observe, record, deduce, and project. How it actually works.
