How long before the pay to play schemes start The Process?

With Texas et al. getting creative so to speak with NIL schemes for a de facto pay to play, how many years before they start the "process" of just cutting off unproductive, underperforming players? I mean, only so many get to start and play significant time, plus you have to make room for the new recruits you are trying to buy.

Two years?

It will happen right after the check clears and the production doesn't follow.

Two year is way overshooting it. It will happen by mid-season next year at the latest.

It's simple. They just wont schedule anymore appearances for the athlete. You dont get paid if you dont provide a service. They can cut the money off at any time.

The programs he is discussing, like the one for OL at Texas, won't cut money from a player.

They will force the player out of the program because taking the money from the player still on the team would make it tougher to sell the guarantee of money in the future.

They will make sure everybody who is there gets their money, but they won't let guys stay who aren't earning their money.

Wow that is something a rich evil villain would come up with. And I absolutely see that happening. Just cut funding to the worst players to pay for better replacements. Holy crap this sport.

Lets be honest here...most of these kids have no idea about loyalty or education etc...they are looking for the quick fix, quick money and what's in it for me right now! Many have no father at home, no leadership and value based home...the same folks that have cheated forever will win with this cheating strategy! What does a 19 year old know about likeness on a t-shirt except it puts a few $ in his pocket and someone else makes the big money...the more money the more they can buy and that devalues education and the long term! Bill Clinton and midnight basketball comes to mind as the same type of lets forget about what's good and right and what will look good! In the end real culture and a family atmosphere will prevail but it may be a long hard struggle and so many will be harmed and left behind!

I am so sick of this take!
Not everybody who plays sports is a homeless drug addicted gang banger crack head!
There are plenty of black athletes who come from fine families ! I would say the majority of them do.
Your take is on that the woke media pushes on everybody but it is not true!
The USA is not a racist country !
Not every athlete is living in poverty, far from it!

Just stop with all this race bating !

Your take is so insulting to people of all colors!
