The odds of a kid finishing in even the top 20 in his 2nd or 3rd race ever at the top level of NASCAR is asking a whole lot. That's even in top notch equipment like Hendrick or Childress stuff. But Rick Ware racing doesn't have near the equipment that most of the teams have. So to expect a kid with hardly no cup experience in below-average equipment to run just semi decent is asking too much. But the cost to sponsor Rick Ware racing for a race is nothing compared to sponsoring the likes of Dale Jr, Jimmy Johnson, Joey Logano etc. In this case, you literally get what you pay for.
