How great would it be to just steam-roll these wuffies from

the jump and finish them off early in the second half. Starts with a early score and a quick stop on their first drive/possibly a turnover. Then scoring quickly after that...that's the scenario i'm hoping for.

We do a lot of scripting plays in the beginning of games that lead to stagnate offensive series' generally. I'd like to see up-tempo/no huddle, rhythm throws with early downfield strikes. They're going to be expecting, screen right, delay hand off left, and then 3rd and long looking for a probably another quick screen in hopes for a YAC play maker (which we generally end up punting.)

I'd like to see us throw a jump ball to TEE on the first play for 35 yards, hand off to ETN for 6. A roll out down field strike to renfrow/ross and then sitting in the redzone by the 4th play. Have yet to see us try early aggression in any game thus far. watch Bama next time TUA plays... They go vertical pretty much from the jump to test the will of the defense. Hasn't been a bad idea yet.

Theres no reason why we can do this. TL should have all the experience he needs at this point. Now its just about proving to himself that he can do it.

TL tends to be a little anxious at the beginning of games. Elliot even said he tried to give Trevor some easy screen throws early to settle him down.

Also those quick screens set up that dart to Ross for the TD later in the game

try to be aggressive from the get go. I think it works as long as everyone is engaged and on the same page. We pretty much do the same opening plays each game. i know its by design but it usually gets us into a quick punting situation early on and quietens the crowd.

Tried to start out the Cuse game aggressively

Big gain to Tee on the slant then immediately fumbled the ball away on a bad mesh

Yeah I wouldn't mind a deep shot on a second down if we get 5 yards or so on first down. Just don't want to be taking deep shots and get behind the chains early
