How does our defense compare to LSU?

If we can hold them to 10 points and limit offensive mistakes we have the potential to blow them out.

Well LSU shut down Louisville and the cards put 500 yards on us.
Just saying

You also have to look at how UL was playing then vs. against LSU

Back when they came to Clemson they were a confident bunch and we're playing at their peak level. But they lost a couple at the end of the year, and they fell off after that after they lost their playoff chances

If we played them again I doubt he would get that much. They had a ton of momentum when they played us...plus our offensive mistakes gave them a lot more opportunities than they should have. We would win by 3-4 tds if we played tomorrow.

LSU was pitiful by the end of the year. There loss to us

derailed them. Their idiot coach and governor whined for 3 weeks about officiating.....they lost all focus and intensity.

I don't member Clemson getting a victory over LSU in 2016

So your reasoning is that LSU shut down Louisville and Louisville put up yards on us? That would be valid but Louisville put up yards against FSU but then got wrecked by Houston who lost by 20+ points to SMU. Can't compare apples and oranges. I believe LSU has a better secondary (at least 2 first rounders back there) but LB is a push and I think our DL is better than LSU. From a complete 2 deep standpoint our defense is the best defense Bama will face this year. Only d that is close is LSU. they held them to 10 and scored 0. The best team well best equipped to beat Bama this year was Ole Miss. yes a 5-7 Ole Miss team and Bama only beat them by 5...

All I'm saying is LSU has a very good D that's all
No big deal .
They had to contend with a pitiful Offense this year and played pretty good all season.
What that has to do with Monday night , well absolutely nothing.

You have a better chance at winning the lottery in three different states the same night then blowing out Alabama.

Alabama's biggest loss in the last five years is by 14. Now if you consider that a blowout, then so be it. Clemson may win, they may not. But they will not blow Alabama out.

But 56-7 Is Certainly a Blow Out....We Should Have

OSU's biggest loss under Meyer was 14 points until last week.

I've watch all games for both all year. I think Clemson has a slight edge on D line, LSU has a slight edge at linebacker (Kendall Beckwith and Arden Key are the real deal) and secondary is a about a push. T white might be slightly better than Tank but they will both play on Sundays.

our offense is our best defense

and that is non-comparable to LSU's pee wee side.
