How do you start an NIL fund?

Can we start some sort of NIL fund for Clemson basketball? I would be willing to donate to one monthly.

If I started one and was transparent with where the money was going, would you donate?

We could continue to ##### and moan about the state of the program, or w could do something about it. Priority # 1 is keeping pj hall for 4 years.

Unless you have a business and use it to pay players/employees, you would have to form a non profit and fund through that.

No, thanks. I have a family to feed. Those kids have parents who can help feed them. I can let them borrow $20 but I’d better have it back by Christmas time.

Alright, I have it all figured out.

My good friend, who is a lawyer and an aspiring sports agent, is dabbling in NIL as well. He is an intermediary between players and businesses for NIL deals.

I can create a non-profit and use my friend to send Clemson bball players the money.

Would anybody seriously consider donating monthly? I would start donations with $500 and then could probably send about $20/month afterwards.

Would anybody else donate monthly? Again, first priority is to keep pj hall for 3 years.

My God I can’t believe this is what college athletics has come to. There is zero chance I’m paying a teenager to play ball when he’s already on scholarship.
