HOW do you get from Top 5 ranked to 16 seed?

I understand that the team had a few late season losses, but they were against top ranked teams and slipped a spot or two, but how did they end up at #10? I must have missed something recently.

It was probably a combo of a strength of schedule outside the Top 50 (56), an RPI that was lower than national rankings (14) and only four Top 25 RPI wins.

I’m a little worried they won’t make it out of their regional the way the offense has played. They are walking Valerie and nobody’s stepping up to hit in the big games.

Hope they come out of the slump.

If we’d have even gotten seeded 15th, that would’ve have a big effect. Assuming we win our regional, to go up against OU is a tall task. Tough team. Good luck ladies!! Hopefully we catch lightning in a bottle!
