How do we fall behind michigan? Serious we lost to unranked pitt

They lost to a unranked Iowa. But Pitt has now beat us and Penn st who is top ten. Mich has played one team.

best we can hope for, unless the winner then loses the B10 CG, or Bama loses. If OhSt wins out, but gets left out of the B10 CG, it will still be hard for us to pass them, because they will have beaten the #3 team, and we won't be playing anyone else ranked in the top 15.

I would have preferred to be #3, and there's definitely an argument, but Clemson's inconsistent play could certainly be considered a strike against us as well. We've been toeing this line, and although our SOS is better, Michigan rolled through everyone until last week.
