On your device that exists because of scientists, in a location air conditioned because of scientists, which you got to in a vehicle that exists because of scientists.

Two were solved by vaccines, and typhoid was solved by chlorination of water. All of which were developed by scientists.

statement wrong? Seems like a reasonable person would expect the OP to prove it to be true and not the other way around.
That scientists are generally people who can't produce anything and skew their research only to get funding?
Wouldn't the shear level of scientific advancement over the last 100 yrs be proof enough that that statement is unfounded?

The problem is....
May 27, 2021, 2:04 PM

In the scientific method you let the experiment play out.
Today we form the conclusion before the experiment is done, manipulate the data to show we are right, and shout down any naysayers. It's no longer science. It's "I'm right, you're wrong" on an epic scale and no facts or data will change either sides stance.

Experiments begin with a hypothesis.

If the results of the experiment prove the hypothesis, that doesn't mean they formed the conclusion before the experiment was done.
I have a funny feeling that this brand of science skepticism applies exclusively to climatology.

Stopped before the CDC announcement. Also started wearing one when they said they don't help, before they said they do help, because I knew the lie, and why they were lying. About the last time we had this low a level of cases. If they go up, I'll start wearing one again.
I really don't understand the hangup.

another great example of how science is poltiicized
May 27, 2021, 3:44 PM

The whole hydroxy is harming people study that everyone used and media had on loop for weeks.
I wish I had a link to this, but a doctor was going on how hard it was to get medical studies published in medical journals. It takes months if not years. It goes thru peer studies as well. Then its finally published.
This study gets published. No peer reviews. Nothing. Most likely b/c of TDS. Turns our the study is BS and most likely fake.
Hydroxy has been used safely for over 50 yrs and all of a sudden its super harmful? Media and politicians ran with it.
