Maybe so... but that still means the ACC is no less than the SEC when it comes to football if it all depends on which game is the most competitive.

Well, Ol Miss was ahead at the end of the first quarter...
I would say that it is because we have not played Carolina in about what, close to 5 years? Meanwhile Ol Miss has been pre-gaming so hard for the last week they black out for the beating they get.

Yep, we're that team. Thanks to the overhype of the $EC, Clemson is the upstart that very many people want to see fail. Too bad for them.
Eventually, we will lose a game we should have won. Don't be surprised when there is a concerted effort to resurrect the clemson*** term.

Clemson has picked up a lot of new fans nationally

A few years on the national stage will do that. They might be bandwagon, but some could remain fans. Sales of branded products have increased significantly.
Let's not continue to sell our team and brand short like we are all alone--little Clemson on an island. While some were praying for a loss, I don't believe all of those viewers were in that category.
More proof is how recruiting prospects from all over the US react when receiving offers from Clemson. I couldn't help noticing a recent remark from one from Texas was: "Extremely blessed to receive an offer from THE CLEMSON UNIVERSITY."
