is there any chance that Connor Shaw will graduate as the starting QB at SCAR?
If so, did you know he will be the FIRST under Spurrier?

Blake Mitchell and Syvelle Newton. Garcia did graduate from USC, but not as a starter. BTW, 0 would be the number of starting QBs to graduate as seniors for Dabo. Boyd should be his first though. Not really sure about the point of your post.....not well thought-out.

None of them were starters as graduates he has been there 8 years and has yet to have a QB finish his eligibility as a starter. Dabo has had Kyle Parker who left early due to the draft and Tajh who will finish his eligibility as a starter.

Newton was moved to WR half way through the 06' season. He graduated in spring of 07'. Mitchell was the starter throughout the 07' season and he graduated in the spring of 08'. Garcia was kicked off the team half-way through the 11' season, but he still graduated from USC. All other qbs that played under Spurrier, and at one time were starters, transferred. Again, i son't understand the OPs point in his or her post.

I went to their graduation last week and noticed at the end of their alma mater, that all their alumni curl their right hands and hold them up like their lifting up a beer in the air to make a toast or something, even if their hands were empty. That was cool. lol

from OP to flame but sorry not today. What is ironic is that Connor Shaw may not graduate the starter, he may lose the job to Thompson or he may be injured by the end of the season. It is refreshing to know that we don't necessarily need a Senior QB to get the job done.

The very fact that this uberdoosh wasnt run out of Colatown after his 3rd arrest or his 6th team violation speaks volumes about the "State School" ...but the remarkable allowance for him getting a degree by that "state school" is utterly repugnant. Lets give him a 7th chance...maybe he could come mumble "touchdown Clemson " with Todd Ellis in the Roach this November.

I mean I'm not arguing that Garcia wasn't a moron, but I believe most of his incidents were just about drinking, and maybe only was because he was arrested. He was an immature kid who was the starting QB at a big school. If he had done anything serious and been allowed to stay that would be one thing. But he was doing what 90% of college kids do, getting drunk and having fun.
