Horace and Harvey roomed in Lever on separate floors their first year, I think Harvey was on my floor. Never could tell them apart, but they filled up the elevator.

I was a freshman in 84', same as Horace and Harvey (and Nancy Humphries or is it O'Dell -- but that is a different story). The main way to tell them apart, if I remember correctly, was that Horace was about an inch and half taller and a little bigger.

I was friends with Nancy Humphries as well. She played hoops in high school by the way. Great all around person!

freshmen year. They had to really work hard, and they did not have good coaching in GA H.S. It was very obvious that Horace was the stronger of the two. His Bro transferred out to Oklahoma State for his Jr. and Sr year and became a mediocre ball player, but Horace became a NBA candidate by his senior year.

Heck if y’all want to see another Brad failure, look at Ja Morant. Top 10 player in the NBA right now from Dalzell that wanted to come to Clemson more than any other school and Brad didn’t offer him. Heck even the coots offered him and he still wound up at Murray State

Our facilities are solid now. Prior to the renovation our facilities were the worst in the ACC. They are now around the middle of the pack.
I do find it hilarious that we just spent more on a video board project for the football team than we did in the entire renovation of littlejohn.

Because that’s where the money to support everything comes from & was given for through IPTAY.
Why complain about what others have & not appreciate what you do have that’s incredibly nice?
If our performance was driving more $money, I would assure you their would be more donations and funds to do even more.
It’s like work ethic, would I work less making $10 an hour McDonald’s verses $30 hr at Bonefish. The answer is no, you work regardless of pay and your Father in Heaven will reward you for it. Others will take notice of how you work and your value will grow.

Keep watching what Earl Grant does at Boston College now in just his second season. BC still had the worst facilities before Littlejohn was renovated. He is doing a great job recruiting and has a top 20 recruiting class coming in this season with 4 starters back. They are my surprise pick of the ACC and feel like they could climb in the top 7. The top 6 are kind of hard to crack this season. If Grant can win at BC, than Clemson can win with the right coach also. Hopefully it is with Earl Grant who is from SC.

Their basketball history is far superior to ours, plus they have plenty of talent in their backyard. The two situations aren't remotely similar.

Go look at your little 2018-2020 spending chart and BC spends less than Clemson in basketball. They have been a lot worse than Clemson overall once they joined the ACC..yeah, they had a few good years right when they joined but have been awful since...

Yes, they spend about $800K less a year on basketball

than we do.
We're both near the bottom of the ACC when it comes to basketball spending.
Yet they have some things going for them that we don't, namely a better basketball history and a better location for basketball.
Let's not forget that we've been a much better program than they have over the past 10 years. This is an important point for you to keep in mind while you try to praise Grant and disparage Brownell.

Lok. No one will ever win a debate with you. It's always going to be something where you spin it to sound like Clemson is always at the bottom of the barrel to win at basketball.
All I know is look at Horace Grant's first comment on the link video. There is no excuse to not win in basketball with the new Littlejohn facilities. Earl Grant is going to have schools back in his foot print of the south start calling him wants he keeps building that BC program up. I hope Clemson is one of them...

made me wonder who's using the measuring tape in Clemson? Maybe it was the angle that the video was taken from but Horace looked about 2-3 inches taller. It says they're both 6-10. It also shows you how pampered athletes are these days.I think it tampers down your drive to be successful when your every whim and desire is met. But it is what it takes to get kids to come there.
