with his normal great way of telling a story spiced with adventure, intrigue, knowledge, tidbits & some BS..

and that it will be long with his normal multiple column indentions for changes in subject matter or thought.

Unpacked yet JoE?!

LoL, but know we missed you Honorable Soldier & Prized TNet Member!

Bill -- Someone asked me if I had a grand time and my response was, "I must have because I'm still too tired to do anything". Was an eventful trip, retracing steps I've made several times and a few new places. Bypassed London entirely (except for Heathrow Airport) because we've been there several times. Must admit I was thoroughly impressed by the English ladies and was planning a story entitled, "Bouncing #####", but after much thought decided it would not be appropriate for the younger members of this board. The story I posted earlier about the Tiger Paw in Canterbury was a fun thing. I have emailed Peter at THE DOLPHIN and asked if he has the name and home town of the Tiger fan who got a free beer. Would be a coincidence if he is a poster on this board or if someone on the board knows him. Peter sent me a photo of the guy but I don't know how to post it on here. Cheers !!!

I would have been in the 1943 class at the Univ. of Florida but WW2 came along and changed those plans. Returned to UF after the war and was in the 1949 class. I got a second degree at Clemson in 1963.
