Honest Question. If TL was still our QB

Sep 26, 2021, 5:16 PM

what would our record be right now?

I think we’d be 4-0 and that is exactly how one great player can cover up the ineffectiveness of an entire offensive staff. DJ isn’t the superstar everyone assumed he would be , and now our junior league scheme and staff have been completely exposed for what they are. Is TE really a $2M OC with an $8M buyout??? Seriously?

unknown and unknowable. besides he isn't and wont be so what is the point. whether you ask this or don't you've still got a middllin' football team that is capable of losing anyone on the schedule if they don't wake up.

I disagree. If you believe that one player could make that much difference, and I do , it just confirms how fragile the program truly is. Here we are truly believing, we have an elite staff and we are an elite program and we’re no where close. And whose fault is that?? The guy at the top , who refused to use the transfer portal to build quality depth and address staff concerns that are real and have been brewing for years.

I doubt it.

There were times against good defenses where TL looked lost, and it's not a knock on TL. I just think that our coaches have been outcoached.

IMO the problem is not the players or lack of experience.

It's coaching.

Dabo has so many assistant coaches with little to no experience, and they don't know what to do when the opposing coaches put them in uncomfortable situation.

One thing's for sure, Trevor never gave up after the seeing the 1st read was covered, nor did he ever turn his back and submit to a sack. DJ is a fine young man and was a great HS QB....the college game is too much for him.
