remember going swimming as a kid in the Ohoopee River. Yeah it's been a long time but I was in Vidalia last year for the funeral of a close fiend and fraternity brother.

And my folks still live there. Graduated from RTCA in Lyons in 1980 ....
Knew another great Tiger from Vidalia. Baseball player Doug Roper ... Can't remember exactly when he was the, but around 1990- ish. Played in the minors a few years before he got injured.

stay in touch. Great guy with a great family. He`s a banker now after spending a few yrs with Paul Anderson`s Children`s Home. Don`t ever bet him you`ll get a bigger turkey than him. He loves hunting and good at it!

Kinda doubt it. I graduated in '72 and I'm 63 now !! LOL When I consider the alterative though, 63 don't sound that bad !! LOL

I know about the hunting. He learned to hunt with my single shot 410. Our fathers worked together at Piggly Wiggly Southern in Vidalia. You are right, it is a great family. My mom was on the board at PAYH. Hated to see Doug go, but he had to make money to support his family. You will not find a guy with better chrisitan values. He walks the walk ... If you know what I mean....
