Holy Cr@p, ACC Champ tix........

selling for $11.00 on Vivid!!! There's the reason why Dabo spoke about the crowd for Saturday night. Such a d@mn shame.......I was in Charlotte for the CU vs VT championship game a few years ago, BofA stadium was rocking that night. Now the ACC is going to have to give away at least 10,000 seats just to make it look like 40,000 are there.

And I can't be there because of work....well I could in CLT but not Orlando and no MYR to MCO flights are left after 2 and before game time. This is distressing. What is even more distressing is that it is all over some horse crap that the NCAA is trying to push in a political agenda. Transgender???? I don't care what hole you stick it in but you have messed with my football and now you have a real enemy

We are extending our business trip here in Orlando to see the game. What would be our best bet for getting tickets? Can we park at the stadium or do we need to buy a pass for that too?
Thanks

By the time you park, check your luggage, go through

security, board, take off, land, get off the plane, get your luggage, and get a ride to a hotel, you could've already driven from Charleston to Orlando for the cost of about 1 tank of gas.

evidently this noble important cause wasn't worth them moving to another state.
The gesture of moving the football championship game to inconvenience others instead of themselves was plenty enough.

Speaking from personal experience. Love to be there, would have been in Charlotte.

bought tickets 2 nights ago in section 120 for $50 each. They're now selling on stubhub for $18.40 apiece on the same row. Heading to Orlando Saturday morning from Asheville. Wish it was in CLT but I don't get to make it to too many games due to work so I'll make the long drive to watch us win the ACCCG

I live in Charlotte. Would have had a house full of friends. We would have spent money all day around town, used public transportation. Now we are all sitting at home this weekend.

How about... Remember that the next time some broken kid/adult tries to disregard one's privacy because they want to "identify" themselves with another gender. You can't tell me that there isn't a better fix for this than to boycott concerts and move sporting events.

on both sides of the debate, if debate was something allowed any more.
The reason the game isn't in Charlotte, and the ONLY reason, is because the ACC Presidents decided to move it. This is on them and them alone. No one in the NC government asked them to leave.
This would have been a fantastic game between two passionate football schools with a capacity crowd in a town that knows how to host it. If you can't sell out Clemson vs VT, you're in the wrong town.
This is why it was so stupid to boycott SC over the flag issue. Now every time some cause gets some media and special interests behind it, the ACC is compelled to either act or justify why this cause isn't as important as the previous cause.
The ACC is a sports conference. It provides a format for playing sports. It is not a tool for social movements. That should have been established when the NAACP called for a boycott of SC.
I would unquestionably be at the game in Charlotte and never considered going to Orlando. I wouldn't say it's a boycott...it's too much money to go. But I was content to never really look into it more so because I'd just as soon see the ACC take a bath on this.
And just to get ahead of it, someone will read that and question my support of the team, or my "fandom." And that's fine. I have my limits and they are further than some and not as far as others.

for $35 plus the Stubhub fees and found a hotel in our preferred chain for a reasonable price. We're driving down and back just for the game. I would love for the game to be in Charlotte, but it isn't. The team will be there, and we need to have as many Tiger fans as possible. If we don't win on Saturday, we have NO chance to play for the Natty. Anybody that can arrange a trip down, needs to go.
This is not about bathrooms, or politics. This is really serious stuff - Clemson football!

I drove down last night for business and I am extending my trip to see the game. It's still early in the week, but I haven't seen any Clemson folks yet. If you really want to come to the game you can do it on the cheap. $11 tickets, you can find hotels just outside Orlando going toward Daytona for $70-$100 (stop and get a coupon book at the state line rest area) and a tank of gas cost about $25. Two people could reasonably make this trip for $200 to $250. That would be no frills, but it would get you to the game.

dooshbagg.
BTW, I wonder if Swoffy has begun plans to move the ACC office out of this oppressive, discriminatory State of NC? How he can stand to be here is beyond me.

Would have been a complete sellout in Charlotte. I hope the ACC loses a lot of money. Ridiculous, gutless, knee-jerk move.
