What could be better than a less safe America, inflation, more murders per capita, being the joke of the globe, higher taxes, high gas prices, record COVID cases for 2021, infected illegals coming across the border to a neighborhood near you, IRS snooping in you bank account, Big Gov. Mandates, CRT indoctrinating our children, being canceled if you disagree with a Commie, record gun violence in Dem cities and the being 'led' by the most ignorant, unqualified, uninformed, demented, vile excuse for a politician in American history!
Good job Dems; thanks for screwing your own country. Nobody ever said Dems know what they're doing when it comes to running a Democracy! Fact!
BTW, you can kiss your a$$es goodbye a year from now, followed by a Republican Presidential Landslide in 2024.

Miura...why not relax about it all? You don't have to worry about Joe getting a 2nd term. Also, unless he gets hospitalized where he can't work, he will be there a couple more years. What's there to stress about? It's already all etched in stone. You should concentrate on who the next candidates will be in 2024. JMO. Maybe you get your boy Trump back again?

Trump isn't going to win the popular vote in 2024.
If Biden's still dragging in the polls, the Dems will primary him - probably Buttigieg or Klobuchar - and he'll either get primaried or step down on his own.
Buttigieg against Trump would be a nightmare...for Trump. Buttigieg is affable, intelligent, quick on his feet, seemingly competent and upbeat...things neither Trump nor Biden can remotely claim anymore. (Not that Trump was ever any of those things.)
The Dems are not a one-man party. Biden was just a compromise candidate doing the job...if he's a drag on the party they'll go another way. Is there anybody who really loves Joe Biden, or was he just the guy everybody could live with?
Trump is still going to be Trump in 2024. Just...Trumpier. And I cannot even imagine how old his act is going to be by then. That's if he somehow escapes this sea of legal jeopardy he's in right now. He was pretty much running between depositions in multiple unrelated cases yesterday.

Agree on the assessment. Not sure Buttigieg is the nominee, but to your point, the Dem party is ready to hand over to a non-Boomer. The GOP is not. Unfortunately I think Harris will not be welcome though she should be seen as a front runner. But Biden isn't running in 2024
I think this will be the major point of the race. Youth versus the old school. I thought we got there with Obama but the dems screwed up with Clinton and Bernie.

I just don't think Harris can win an election. If she's ever prez it's because Joe didn't make it...and I really hope that doesn't happen. She was another compromise candidate...and her office, according to all reports, is an outright snake pit. And it shows; she is not likeable. The real quality if Joe was bent on picking a black woman as running mate was actually probably Susan Rice or IMHO Val Demings but Harris had less political baggage than Rice and was younger, had more name recognition, and was from California - and probably most critically, had a real strong working relationship with Big Tech. (Some might actually argue she was in their pocket.)
But to win the primary you've gotta be able to get out and stump (unless you're Joe Biden and you've got a COVID epidemic and Jim Clyburn in your pocket)...up until South Carolina happened, it was looking like a Pete-or-Bernie battle...and Bernie isn't going to run again in 2024, no way, no how. Kamala doesn't have the charisma to win that fight, IMHO.
Pete's the guy who can do that. Or it might be somebody we haven't see much of yet. I could also see, say, Adam Kinzinger jumping across the aisle and running as a Dem, and a conservative-leaning Dem would be a nightmare for Trump.

I think Klobuchar might have a better shot than Pete. I think Pete might beat Trump though. That would be hilarious.
