When they start feeding Christians to the lions I'm going to claim persecution. Being kicked off a social media platform says more about them than us.

The thing that really bothers me is that those who claim to be liberal are now enjoying the crushing of freedom of speech. I can't wait to see the left go too far and lose the independents and a portion of their base over this.

They start by picking off the easiest to demonize and dismiss but this won't stop with Trump supporters. As the left moves further and further to the left eventually the people who have no part of the movement, those who just hate Trump, will realize how wrong this is and turn against the movement.

They have no idea what they are doing to themselves.

NONE of the rights in the Bill of Rights is absolute. Over the years, we have established legal boundaries for speech, assembly, religion - all of them. Anyone who has done any study of jurisprudence is very familiar with the cases and the decisions setting these limits. This is nothing new and thank goodness.

Just because people who we vehemently oppose make a statement, doesn't make that statement incorrect. These higher, harder-to-live-up-to standards are why we should be proud to be Americans. And why we should stringently oppose those who would cross those lines to denigrate our democracy.
